The North Dakota Army National Guard welcomes 15 of its soldiers home after serving a 10 month deployment.
A welcome home ceremony was held for the soldiers and their families at the Armed Forces Reserve Center.
Senator John Hoven and Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley were there to honor the soldiers for their service and safe return.
Nicholas Kane’s family is welcoming the return of not just one soldier but two.
“The other guys they become your family, but when you’ve got your brother there who has understood you for the last 30 years of his life or your life you got somebody to lean on that just gets you,” says Nicholas Kane Returning Soldier.
This is the first group of returning soldiers for the North Dakota National Guard this year.
