Three Children Die in Minneapolis House Fire

A mother loses her three children in Minneapolis and fire officials say an oven may be to blame.

Firefighters responded to the fire in north Minneapolis just before midnight Saturday.

They searched the home and found three children, two of which were already dead.

The third died at a hospital.

The Minneapolis Fire Chief says the oven door was open and the fire started at or near the stove.

The home’s owner says the family had just moved in, and the natural gas had not been turned on yet.
