Second Bank Robbery in Grand Forks
For the second time in two weeks, a woman has robbed a bank in Grand Forks.
The latest armed robbery happened in the noon hour at Citizen’s Community Credit Union.
Police say a heavy-set woman, described as possibly Native American and in her 30’s or 40’s, walked into the bank, showed a weapon, demanded money and then fled.
A tan-colored sedan was seen leaving the area, but it’s unknown if it’s tied to the robbery.
Police are still looking for the suspect in a robbery on September 30th at Bremer Bank.
That suspect was also a heavy-set woman believed to be in her late 30’s and Hispanic.
If you have any information on these crimes, call police.
