Weight Watchers Stock Doubles: Thanks, Oprah

Weight Watchers stock doubles in value after  Oprah Winfrey buys a stake in the company and joins its board.

Winfrey bought a 10 percent stake in the company.

She paid just under $7 a share or about $43 million.

By the end of the day, she had made nearly $70 million.

The company will broaden its focus to emphasize health and happiness, not just weight loss.
