Motorcyclist Hits Deer, Gets First Aid, then Hit by Minivan

A motorcyclist died after hitting a deer and then being hit by a minivan in Sherburne County.

Sheriff’s officials say 44-year-old Roger Claassen struck the deer on a road in Baldwin Township Monday night.

Claassen was thrown from the bike.

Authorities say a minivan swerved to avoid those giving aid and struck Claassen.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
