MSUM Hosts Red River Women’s Studies Conference

The conference travels between MSUM, NDSU and UND each year discussing trending topics that effect oppressed and marginalized groups.

This year’s theme focuses on precarities and securities.
Keynote speakers will also be discussing campus safety, and the important role that institutions have in preventing sexual violence.

“A sense of community that people care about this issue. That we are invested as a community to put an end to sexual violence, and an end to the ways that our institutions aren’t set up for all up,” said Kandace Creel Falcón MSUM Director of Women’s Studies.
