Arrest Made in Devils Lake Hardee’s Fire

A Devils Lake man faces felony arson and burglary charges for the fire at Hardee’s in Devils Lake.

24 year old Michael Ott is being held in the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center.

Ott was arrested Friday in connection with the fire that destroyed the restaurant.

His bond has been set at $250,000.

The fire was reported by a passerby shortly before 3 in the morning on October 25th.

The last employees had left the building more than two hours before the alarm sounded.

Fire crews were on scene for 13 hours making sure the fire was out.
