SkyWest Flights Grounded in Devils Lake
The manager of the Devils Lake airport says the city will be without commercial air service for a few days this week.
John Nord says the automatic weather reporting system on the airport property is scheduled to be replaced, and while the system is down commercial SkyWest Airlines flights will be suspended.
There will be no SkyWest flights from Tuesday morning until Friday morning, though there’s a chance the work could be completed earlier.
The system that reports weather conditions to incoming planes has been plagued by frequent outages.
