Dilworth Police Search for Answers in Weekend Apartment Shooting

Dilworth Police are looking for two people of interest in connection to a weekend shooting.

Police Chief Ty Sharpe says investigators want to talk to 36-year-old Lenard Wells and 24-year-old Lloyd Johnson.

No warrants have been issued for the two men.

But police still want to ask them about their possible involvement in a shooting at this apartment building on 5th Avenue Northwest around 3:15 Saturday morning.

Police say four to five males dressed in black and wearing masks tried to enter an apartment before firing into the front door.

The men were able to get into the apartment, where several more shots were fired.
