Belfield Teen Dies in Motorcycle Accident

A teen from Belfield is dead after crashing into a pipeline with his motorcycle.

Authorities say the 16-year-old boy was riding in a field about 12 miles northeast of Belfield on Monday evening when he struck the pipeline under construction and was thrown from the bike.

The patrol says the dirt bike was not equipped with headlights, and the boy was not wearing a helmet.
