Concordia College Garden Expands

Students at Concordia College have seen their campus garden grow, literally.

The campus garden that was once just a small section of land has been expanded.

The college held a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating their brand new High Tunnel.

The High Tunnel features a solar air system that will warm the soil, and allow students to plant and grow in the garden from February to November.

The tunnel was made possible by efforts from the school’s facilities management, and a partnership with the nonprofit RREAL.
