Community Action Gets Major Federal Grant

North Dakota’s congressional delegation says a Fargo-based group dedicated to fighting poverty is getting a $1.5 million federal grant.

The delegation says the money awarded to the North Dakota Community Action Agency comes from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The grant is intended to “promote school readiness for low-income children through comprehensive health, educational, nutritional and social services.”
