Moorhead Masonic Center Donates to Local Charities
A breakfast spot in Moorhead makes a winter tradition of donating to local charities.
The weekly Masonic Family Center Pancake Breakfast contributes to food banks in town. Organizers recently partnered with the Dorothy Day House Food Bank.
The Masons just they donated $3,000 to the group. Crowds at the breakfast have been steadily growing since it opened in 1998.
“It’s more fellowship than it is breakfast. As you can see, it’s country style breakfast. Everybody just sits and visits and have coffee and enjoys company,” says Masonic Family Center member, Shane Granzow.
The Pancake Breakfast is run by volunteers. You can stop by to donate and grab a bite every Saturday morning from 7- 11 am through March.
