Police Investigate Break-In at South Moorhead Church

Moorhead police are investigating a church break-in.

Police were called to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 4000 28th Street South in Moorhead around 6:30 this morning.

Officers say a large stained glass window had been broken to allow a burglar to make entry, but it is still unclear if anything was taken.

They say at this time there are no leads in the investigation.

“We have an investigator that’s aware of the case, and is going to continue to look into anything he can to try to determine who is responsible, but we have not identified any suspects at this time,” said Lt. Tory Jacobson of Moorhead Police.
Police say they are also looking at vandalism as a possible motive.
