Clay County Sheriff’s Office Makes Drone Purchase
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is getting a drone.
Emergency Management Director Bryan Green says delivery of the drone is expected next week, but the federal certification process could take several months.
He says the drone will be used primarily for search and rescue missions.
The nearly $5,000 drone will be paid for with a grant.
