MNsure Enrollment Deadline Extended For Jan. 1 Coverage

Officials have extended the deadline for enrolling in Minnesota’s health insurance exchange for coverage starting January 1st.
 
Minnesotans now have until December 28th to enroll and have their plan take effect at the start of the new year. The announcement was made Saturday.

The change comes as some health insurance companies expressed interest in offering plans through the end of the month.

Officials say the deadline extension is not in response to any system issues or technical problems.

To meet demand, MNsure will increase customer service resources at its contact center..
