Police: Grand Forks Man Rams Two Squad Cars During Pursuit

A Grand Forks man faces numerous charges after a late night pursuit.
 
57-year-old Billy Ray Hackler led Grand Forks Police on a chase around 1:15 am Saturday.

Speeds reached up to 60 miles per hour.

A squad car used a pit-maneuver to stop Hackler’s vehicle. Police say he then intentionally rammed two squads. No one was hurt.

Hackler is facing charges of fleeing, DUI, driving under suspension, ingesting a controlled substance, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had warrants out for his arrest.
