Walsh County State’s Attorney Hurt in Crash

The State’s Attorney of Walsh County was hurt after rolling her SUV.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Barbara Whelan was on Highway 18 near Park River Saturday morning when she tried to pass another vehicle and lost control.

Whelan’s vehicle hit a culvert and rolled.

She was wearing a seatbelt and was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
