Hamm Stepping Down as State Insurance Commissioner
North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm is stepping down.
He issued a statement saying he will not seek re-election in 2016.
The Republican has not decided what he will do in the future.
Hamm was appointed insurance commissioner in 2007 by then Gov. Hoeven to finish the term of Jim Poolman, who resigned.
Hamm is a former Cass County prosecutor.
