Bail Set for Juba Arson Suspect

Bail has been set at $50,000 for a 25-year-old East Grand Forks man charged with setting fire to a Grand Forks restaurant and coffee shop.

Matthew Gust is charged with arson for allegedly starting the fire at Juba on South Washington early last Tuesday morning.

The fire did nearly $100,000 in damage.

Authorities say Gust threw a 40-ounce beer bottle filled with gasoline through the windows of the Somali owned coffee shop.

Gust was arrested Tuesday at a Fosston motel.
