Emergency Landing Investigation Prompts Allegiant Air to Make Training Changes
Allegiant Air is increasing training for pilots and dispatchers.
In July, a plane operated by two Allegiant executives who are also pilots made an emergency landing in Fargo after one of the pilots told controllers he didn’t have enough fuel to reach another airport.
A spokesman for the FAA says the agency closed its investigation in October with a “letter of correction,” which is not as serious as an enforcement action.
