Don’t Like Your Gift? You’re Not The Only One.
The day after Christmas is a day of shopping and returns.
If you don’t like your Christmas gift, it looks you’re not the only one.
According to a USA Today poll, 15% of holiday sales this year are likely to be returned.
While the day after Christmas is the biggest day for returns, many retailers have been seeing returns all week.
“A lot of our returns come through today but honestly it’s kind of throughout the week. A lot of times early Christmases, early holidays, so a lot of families will kind of bring them in and out but we tend to see a big return day today and tomorrow,” says Target Store Team Leader, Tina Miller.
To ensure a pain free return process keep the original packaging, have the tags on and try to bring a receipt.
As for any unwanted gift cards, you may be in luck.
Card exchange services such as Card Pool allows people to sell unwanted gift cards for up to 92% cash back.
