9-Time Felon Caught With Firearm To Enter Plea

Most convicted felons can’t legally possess a firearm.

A nine-time felon caught with a gun and more than 500 rounds of ammunition is about to learn that lesson.

Jonathon Kinney is charged in federal court with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.

A plea agreement calls for two of the four charges against Kinney to be dropped.
Kinney had been previously convicted on five counts of accomplice to burglary or theft of property, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, and terroristic threats.

The charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
