Lindenwood Campground Set to Accept Reservations

A popular local destination will begin taking reservations for the 2016 season soon.

Starting January 11, Lindenwood Campground will take reservations from campers.

The heavily wooded site is one of the most popular campgrounds in the region, and includes electricity, running water, and hot showers.

The Fargo Parks District has some advice for would–be campers looking to claim their spot at Lindenwood.

“We are popular, so the sooner the better.  Most weekends we are 100% full we … a lot of times have waiting lists for people, especially if it’s a holiday weekend or an extended weekend,” said Program Coordinator Sam Larson-Frobig.

Busy times for the summer season include July Fourth and Marathon weekends.

Campers come in from as far way as California and Denmark.

Reservations for the campground are non–refundable, and can only be made by email or by calling the Fargo Park District.

You can call the Fargo Park District at 701-232-3987 to make a reservation starting January 11.

The nightly fee is $29 dollars and campers are limited to 14 days within a 30-day period.
