Phone Scam: Woman Posing as Moorhead Police

A phone scam warning from Moorhead Police.

A female is calling people claiming to be with the department.

She says there is an open case and she is trying to collect money that is owed.

The caller ID shows the correct phone number for the Moorhead Police, but it isn’t them.

They advise you to not give any personal information out if you get such a call.
