NDSU’s Oldest Residence Hall Expected to Get a Major Face Lift

One of NDSU’s oldest residence halls will soon be undergoing a nearly $10 million renovation.

Churchill Residence Hall located just west of University Drive was built back in the 1930’s and has been housing students for more than eight decades.

Since the late 90’s, parts of the building have been unusable because they do not meet current city construction standards.

The renovation is set to begin next January.

Once it’s finished, the building will return to its original 230 bed count, from its current 198.
