Boy Dies in Snowmobile Accident Near Hatton
A young boy is dead in a snowmobile accident in Grand Forks County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 10-year-old boy was on a snowmobile with a 9-year-old boy when the driver lost control and jumped the roadway.
The 10-year-old from Thompson was killed, the 9-year-old from Hatton was seriously hurt.
He was flown to Sanford in Fargo.
The patrol isn’t sure which boy was driving at the time.
It is also unclear if the boys were wearing helmets.
The crash is under investigation.
