Williston Police Dealing with Increasing Heroin Overdoses

One person has died and eight others have been treated for overdosing on heroin over a six-day period in Williston.

Police say the overdoses began on January 4th.

They are not all connected and happened in different areas of Williston.

A man around 30 died, while seven other men and one woman, ranging in age from 25 to 45, overdosed.

Authorities say the rapid increase in heroin use is of high concern.
