MN State Patrol Releases Dash Cam Video, Semi Connection to Fatal I-94 Crash

There has been yet another new release in the Kvalvog case. We now have video of the wanted semi.

Law enforcement videos from the Minnesota State Patrol investigation of the crash were obtained by KFGO.

Dash-cam video of a highway patrolman in route to the crash that killed brothers Zach and Connor Kvalvog, is helping connect the dots in finding the mystery semi allegedly involved in the accident.

The brothers died after their pick up overturned as they were attempting to pass a semi on I-94.

A passenger in the truck who survived the crash says the semi came into their lane.

Ray Kvalvog says it is this very video that has brought back hope for his family.

“The other and the important one was the highway patrolmen traveling South to North from Alexandria to the crash site. It was that tape that we used to be able to find the semi,” said Ray Kvalvog Zach and Connor’s Dad.

Another video shows the semi passing through the Red River Weigh Station on I-94 near Moorhead.

“Now there’s maybe thousands of eyes on this picture that can help identity it,” said Ray.

Since the new development law enforcement has been looking for a blue Kenworth, late 80’s to early 90’s, with partial license number “024” or “025.”

For the Kvalvog family each new release is a step closer to the truth.

“A lot of attention on this, and a lot of media maybe to the point for some people that it gets to be to much, why is this always out there? But I’ll never stop till I find the truth,” said Ray.

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow says since the release of the semi photos, the agency has received multiple tips that they are following up on.
