“Ghosts” Light up Farm Field in Grand Forks

One empty farm field in Grand Forks is being transformed into a canvas for art.

“Ghosts”, a three piece farm machine installation, honors farmers and agriculture of the past, present and future.

The piece can be seen on the lot along 42nd Street just before the 17th Avenue intersection.

The machines will be lit up at night for the public to view.

Organizers say it’s amazing to seeing it all come altogether.

“It’s been months, first you got to find the machines; you don’t know what you’re going to do with them. You know you’re going to paint them white, you got to find someone to paint them, but anyway it’s now finally happening,” said Madelyn Camrud, an artist involved in the project.

The installation will be on display through March 31st.
