Man Injured After Allegedly Jumping from Fargo’s 45th Street Overpass

An unusual call for help in south Fargo this afternoon.

A man jumped off of the 45th Street South overpass onto I-94.

A driver had to swerve to miss him.

There is a walkway on the east side of the bridge, but the man jumped from the west side and dropped between 25 and 30 feet onto the pavement.

Luckily, he was not hit and authorities say he only suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

They say the man is in his 20’s but have not released his name.

He was taken to Essentia.
