Sanford Says Progress on New Hospital on Track

Sanford is showing off the progress on its brand new one million-square-foot hospital.

Sanford Fargo president Paul Richard says the eleven-story medical center is on schedule.

The building is fully enclosed now, with lower floors starting to resemble a hospital as opposed to a construction site.

Richard says patient privacy is a priority at the new hospital.

He adds that every patient will now have their own room, with the facility housing 380 beds.

Richard explains, “For those of us who have been walking the halls for a long time, we’ve needed this for our current patient population for a long time, and from our perspective, this is what Fargo, the community, and the region we serve needs.”

Richard says Sanford should get the keys to the new hospital in January of 2017, with the first patients being admitted that July.
