‘Sow What Now Workshop’ Showcases Ag Technology

A conference in Fargo on the latest in agriculture technology has farmers thinking about their options.

The “Sow What Now” workshop aims to empower farmers with the knowledge needed to handle complex agriculture issues.

The conference also covered other important topics, such as insecticide resistance and financial risk management.

The event’s organizer told us how he wants to help his fellow growers.

“What we’re trying to do is get our neighbors that maybe aren’t utilizing the technology or rotating crops – that type of stuff – and to understand what the problem is,” said Greg LaPlante, the workshop organizer.

The workshop was funded by the North Dakota Soybean Council and Bayer Crop Science.

A larger conference is planned for next year with hopefully even more farmers in attendance.
