Treatment Center in Detroit Lakes Welcomes First Patients
Compassion House in Detroit Lakes, a residential treatment center for men, has welcomed its very first patients.
The center received its residential treatment license a few weeks ago, and since has received three new patients.
The treatment center provides patients with the tools needed to help beat addiction.
Including things like group therapy, relapse prevention, and spiritual practice.
“Compassion house being a faith based program is a very good option for people. You can’t help everybody but hopefully we can help a lot of people,” said Barbara Nelson, Compassion House Program Director.
The facility is equipped to house up to 15 patients.
