Benefit Helps Breast Cancer Survivor

The community gathers to support a woman fighting breast cancer.

Lonna Stoner of Fargo is in remission after battling stage two breast cancer.

Multiple treatments and surgeries caused Stoner to be unable to work.

Supporters bought raffle tickets, bid in a silent auction and even went bowling to support Stoner.

Proceeds for the benefit will help compensate for lost wages and high cost of medical bills.

“We’re thankful that everything turned out to be a good ordeal for her. She’s in remission now and we’re happy to be going back to our normal lives,” says Lonna’s son, Skylar Stoner.

Non–profit organization, Lend a Hand will match up to $5000 in donation funds.

Donations can be gifted on Lend a Hand, direct cash or check to “Lonna Stoner Benefit Fund,” to Wells Fargo Bank (406 Main Ave, Fargo, ND 58126).
