What better way to stay warm this winter than with a cup…or two, of soup?

Thanks to the youth group at St. William’s Church, soup lovers could enjoy everything from cheese soup to chili.

All proceeds are benefiting this year’s mission trip, where kids will be traveling to Poland.

This is the fourth year for the church’s Soupapalooza.

“In the middle of winter everybody is looking for a reason to come together and to come together for soup is a very good attraction we get people from the surrounding churches as well as other people from the community,” says religious educator, Kirk Howatt.
Along with making the soups, the youth group also put together baggies for the homeless filled with everything from socks, to toothpaste and even some granola bars.

They’re encouraging everyone to take a bag and hand it to someone in need.
