Milwaukee Couple Pleads Guilty to ND Sex Trafficking Charges

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man has pleaded guilty in Fargo to federal human trafficking charges.

Kurtis Johnson pleaded guilty to two counts of sex trafficking of children and one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

He was pulled over and arrested last March while allegedly bringing a woman and 17-year-old girl to North Dakota for prostitution.

Tara Ridley, 26, of Milwaukee has also pleaded guilty to one count of interstate travel in aid of prostitution.

She allegedly rented the cars Johnson used to transport women.
