“Making a Murderer” Lawyer Talks with Lawmakers in St. Paul

A defense attorney for Steven Avery, the subject of the popular Netflix series “Making a Murderer”, is talking about improving the criminal justice system.

Dean Strang stopped in St. Paul to talk with lawmakers.

He said the value of the documentary was to raise questions about the criminal justice system.

He said policymakers should consider the rules that are currently in place and discuss what changes could be made to ensure fair police investigations and trials.
