Kilbourne Announces Partnership for Downtown Fargo Makeover

Kilbourne announces a new partnership for a major downtown development project.

Kilbourne plans to partner with R.D Offutt Company and Fargo-based hotel developer TMI Hospitality to build a mixed-use downtown tower.

The US Bank Plaza will be getting the face lift.

The tower will include the corporate headquarters for Offutt.

There will also be an 88 room hotel, condominiums, parking structure and  community gathering and event space.

“We’re thrilled to get started working on the project. It’s been in the works for some time that we’ve been talking to Kilbourne and RDO. I think it’s going to be a historic development for downtown. It’s just something we’re thrilled to be a part of. I think we can really lend our expertise in the field of the hotel in the project. So we’re just thrilled,” says Joe Delli Santi of TMI Hospitality.
 
Approval from city leaders for the partnership is expected in March.

The goal is to start construction this fall.
