Fargo Police Officer Dies As Result of Homicidal Violence
Fargo, ND – At 12:45 PM on February 11, 2016, Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer officially passed away, as a result of homicidal violence.
On February 10th, Officer Moszer responded to a domestic disturbance with reported gunfire, at 308 9th Avenue North in Fargo.
While he was standing on perimeter, Officer Moszer sustained a single gunshot wound. It is believed the gunshot was fired from the suspect inside of 308 9th Avenue North.
A resident in the area reported seeing an officer lying on the ground by a squad car, and notified dispatch.
Red River Valley SWAT officers responded under the cover of an armored vehicle to Officer Moszer’s location, extricated him from the scene, and transported to a local medical facility for treatment.
The incident is under investigation by the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
