West Fargo Man Dies in Hang Glider Crash

A West Fargo man is dead after a powered hang glider crashed while taking off from an airport in the Phoenix area.

Police say 55–year–old James George III was killed Tuesday afternoon.

The cause of the crash isn’t known and the FAA and NTSB are investigating.

Police say the hang glider belonged to a Buckeye resident.

The town is about 40 miles west of Phoenix.
