Mott Man Accused of Taking Laney’s Truck on Joy Ride

Charges are pending against a man who allegedly stole a Laney’s Mechanical truck on Wednesday.

Officers used tire deflation devices west of Detroit Lakes on Highway 10 to try to stop the vehicle.

They had to use a pit maneuver to get the driver, 30-year-old Brandon Seifert of Mott, to stop.

He was arrested and faces charges.
