Boy Shoots Classmate with BB Gun at School

Police arrest a 12–year–old boy for shooting another boy with a BB gun at Faribault Middle School.

A staff member notified the school resource officer about the shooting around 12:45 p.m.

The school went into lockdown, and a teacher located the suspect within minutes.

The 13–year–old victim suffered a minor injury to his arm.

He said he was confronted by the boy in a restroom and shot.

The boy was taken to a juvenile facility, pending charges.
