Fargo Woman Charged with Child Endangerment of Unborn Child

A Fargo woman is charged with felony child endangerment for taking drugs while she was pregnant.

Desiree McKay appeared in court on Friday and had bail set at $15,000 or just $1,500 if she agrees to complete a drug program.

She was appointed a public defender.

McKay’s newborn is in protective custody with Cass County Social Services.

Her next court date is March 31st for a preliminary hearing.
