Hawley Teens Facing Possible Charges After Drugs and a Gun Found in Vehicle

A drug complaint at Hawley High School leads to a loaded gun and drug paraphernalia.

Police found the items when they searched a vehicle off of school property last Wednesday morning.

Two 17-year-old males were detained and one could face charges by the Clay County Attorney’s Office.

Police say the boys were both released to their parents and are cooperating with law enforcement and school officials.
