North Dakota State Patrol Releases Dead Man’s Picture During Amber Alert

An Amber Alert sent out this morning by the North Dakota Highway Patrol was quickly canceled.

The patrol said 15-year-old Aimee Messerly had been found before noon.

They said earlier that the girl might be traveling with Larry Fox.

But that man is deceased and his picture was released by mistake.

Messerly was found safe with her father at Four Bears Casino in New Town.

Authorities did not say if the girl was ever in any kind of danger.
