Report Released on Cause of Fargo Business Fire

Spontaneous combustion.

That is what the Fargo Fire Marshal says caused the fire at Square One Rental Kitchen in north Fargo last month.

Ryan Erickson says oily rags in a garbage can ignited and spread.

Firefighters reported the fire had nearly burned itself out due to lack of oxygen and extinguished the flames.

The fire caused $150,000 in damage to the building and its contents.
