Fargo Commissioner Wants Brakes Put on Diversion After Cost Hike
A Fargo City Commissioner wants the entire F-M Diversion project halted.
Dave Piepkorn is calling for the entire project to be re-assessed.
He says questions need to be answered about rising costs and the amount of funding assistance available in the long term.
The latest cost estimate for the F-M Diversion is more than $2.1 billion.
The exact details of why the cost is going up will be released during a diversion meeting on Thursday.
