Grand Forks Shooting Suspect Identified

A Fargo man is charged in a shooting in Grand Forks earlier this week.

Forty–year–old Odus Maxwell has been held in the Grand Forks County Correctional Center since Wednesday.

According to court documents, he faces felony charges of attempted murder, robbery, and aggravated assault.

Police say 30–year–old David Gomez suffered non–life threatening injuries when he was shot Tuesday on the city’s north side.

Police have not said if a motive for the shooting has been determined.
