Sinner Running For Another Term

A state senator who represents south Fargo has decided to run for another term.

Democrat George Sinner has served in the state senate since 2013 and had given consideration to the governor’s race, something he ruled out early last month.

Sinner, the son of a former governor, will be challenged by businessman and developer, Jim Roers in District 46.

Roers, a Republican, was appointed to the senate four years ago when State Sen. Tom Fischer died before his term was up.

Roers then ran against Sinner, but narrowly lost.
